The participants will focus on discussing the regulation of virtual assets in Ukraine and combating financial crime. The event is organised by the Centre for Finance and Security at RUSI and the Centre for Financial Integrity.

The significance of virtual assets in Ukraine is growing; however, the market remains outside legislative regulation. This creates risks for the financial system, yet Public-Private Partnership (PPP) can play a key preventive role. It will also facilitate coordination between the public and private sectors to prepare for forthcoming market regulation and to develop clear roadmaps for the development of the sector.

Members of the Taskforce will share their views on virtual assets and financial crime in Ukraine, as well as their experience and recommendations.
