Our financial literacy and resilience begin with us. That is why it is essential to instill financial knowledge in children from an early age and teach them to recognise financial threats and fraud schemes.

On March 20, 2025, we conducted a financial literacy lesson for 5th-grade students of Chernihiv Gymnasium No. 3, helping them take their first step towards responsible money management.

Together with the students, we explored how to protect themselves from financial crimes, manage money wisely, and even created their first personal budget.

Why is this important?

• Children and teenagers are one of the primary targets for scammers and criminals. They need to know how to recognise financial threats.
• Financial literacy fosters responsible money management from an early age.
• Budgeting skills help build a financially stable future.
