On 30 May, the Center for Financial Integrity marked its second anniversary. On this occasion, we are summarising the key achievements and results of its work
We are convinced that effective counteraction to financial crime requires a systemic and comprehensive approach. The Center for Financial Integrity (CFI) works in cooperation with representatives of the public sector, engaging in discussions on strategic public policy issues, including improving the effectiveness of measures to prevent and combat money laundering. At the same time, the organisation develops initiatives for a wide range of stakeholders across Ukraine, including journalists, civil society organisations, and young people.
The main areas of work over the two years of the CFI’s activity have included: developing public–private partnerships, implementing the UPLIFT training programme, youth engagement, as well as research and analytical work.
Within The Task Force on Public–Private Partnership (PPP) in Fighting Financial Crime in Ukraine, established in November 2024, four in-person meetings and one online meeting were held, addressing a wide range of topical issues in the field of financial crime in Ukraine. A study visit to the United Kingdom was also organised to explore international best practices.
Key findings and developed recommendations were summarised in joint analytical reports prepared by the Center for Financial Integrity and the Centre for Finance and Security (CFS) at RUSI.

The Ukraine Programme for Learning Integrity in Financial Training (UPLIFT) is a multi-level training initiative designed and implemented by the Center for Financial Integrity. It is aimed at beginners and professionals working in or interested in financial integrity, anti-money laundering, counter-terrorist financing, sanctions policy, and related fields. Participants gain access to international expertise, up-to-date research, and practical experience from leading specialists.
The programme attracted significant interest, receiving over 300 applications. After selection, 115 participants joined the first stage and successfully demonstrated their knowledge through six online sessions. In April 2026, a study visit to Warsaw was organised for the 10 most motivated participants. They deepened their practical understanding during a three-day intensive training with international experts. The programme is now in its final stage — a mentoring phase aimed at consolidating knowledge and supporting participants’ further professional development.

The Center for Financial Integrity supports young leaders in their development and has established the Financial Integrity Platform — Young Leaders Chapter. We help expand access to new knowledge and shape the next generation of professionals who will work to protect Ukraine’s financial system.
Over the past two years, a wide range of activities has been conducted, including lectures, informal discussions, and training sessions for young people in more than eight cities. The platform now brings together over 400 participants. The largest event was the “Ideathon on Financial Crime”, whose winners went on a study visit to London.

The Center for Financial Integrity conducts applied research on key issues within Ukraine’s financial system, focusing on preventing financial crime, combating money laundering and terrorist financing, as well as emerging risks in digital finance. Over its period of activity, more than 10 analytical papers have been produced, three of which were developed within Task Force on PPP.
We express our sincere gratitude to all partners, donors, the Advisory Board, and other stakeholders who have supported the work of the Center for Financial Integrity, as well as to everyone who has contributed to strengthening the fight against financial crime in Ukraine. Together, we are contributing to enhancing the country’s financial security and integrity.
The Center for Financial Integrity continues to expand its activities and invites you to join future initiatives.
