On 30 September, the Center for Financial Integrity (CFI), together with the Cherkasy Youth Resource Center, held an event for young people in Cherkasy focused on financial literacy and personal financial management.

During the event, participants discussed practical approaches to managing personal finances, budgeting, and developing healthy financial habits.

Particular attention was paid to making informed financial decisions, setting personal financial goals, and planning how to achieve them. Participants also explored opportunities to generate additional income and discussed the basic principles of responsible saving and investing.

An important part of the event focused on financial fraud and protecting personal finances. Participants discussed common threats to their own finances, as well as the risks currently facing Ukraine’s financial system.

The event was held in an open discussion format, allowing participants to ask questions, share their experiences, and discuss financial situations that young people encounter in their everyday lives.

For the Center for Financial Integrity, promoting financial literacy among young people is an important part of building a more resilient and responsible financial environment in Ukraine.
