On 2 October 2026, the open online ranking vote for candidates to the Public Oversight Council of the Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA) concluded. Over the three-day voting period, 8,891 people cast their votes, with 27 candidates admitted to the competition.
The Public Oversight Council is an advisory body established to exercise public oversight over ARMA’s activities, promote the Agency’s transparency and accountability, and facilitate its engagement with civil society.
Oksana Ihnatenko, Managing Director of the Center for Financial Integrity (CFI), participated in the elections. Oksana ran as part of a coalition of civil society organisations united around a common goal: strengthening the transparency, accountability, and effectiveness of ARMA.
According to the voting results, Oksana Ihnatenko placed second and was among the nine candidates elected to form the new Public Oversight Council.

For the Center for Financial Integrity, participation in the Council provides an opportunity to contribute to strengthening the transparency and accountability of Ukraine’s system for tracing and managing seized assets, as well as to promote effective cooperation between ARMA and civil society.
The composition of the Council is expected to be formally approved by an ARMA order no later than 9 October 2026 and published on the Agency’s website.
