Training on Virtual Assets for Financial Institutions and Designated Non-Financial Businesses and Professions (DNFBPs)

We invite you to attend a training on virtual assets for financial institutions and designated non-financial businesses and professions (DNFBPs) interested in this topic. The training is organised by the Centre for Finance and Security (CFS) at the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI) in cooperation with the Centre for Financial Integrity (CFI) and the Academy of Financial Monitoring.

This training is part of the project “Strengthening Ukraine’s Capacity to Counter Illicit Finance” (UCIF), implemented by DAI Global with the support of the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO).

Participants will be introduced to international standards and emerging best practices in managing risks related to virtual assets, including customer due diligence (CDD), transaction monitoring, and risk assessment frameworks applicable to both financial institutions and DNFBPs. The session will also cover practical implementation challenges, typologies and “red flags”, as well as the evolution of public–private cooperation in strengthening compliance and the resilience of the virtual asset ecosystem.
