Ukraine Recovery Conference 2025

The CFI team — Oksana Ihnatenko and Anastasiia Okunevych — travelled to Rome to attend the main URC2025 conference, participate in side events, and actively engage in discussions.

URC2025 became the largest international conference on Ukraine’s recovery, bringing together over 6,000 participants from 70 countries. More than 200 agreements and memoranda were signed during the event, with over €13 billion in confirmed funding. Governments, international organisations, financial institutions, businesses, regions, municipalities and civil society joined forces to strengthen Ukraine’s resilience.

The conference focused on four strategic areas: mobilising the private sector for reconstruction and economic growth; social recovery and investment in human capital; rebuilding communities and regions; and Ukraine’s EU accession and related reforms.

Particular attention was given to empowering youth and women. CFI is already working in this direction through our initiatives: the Financial Integrity Platform –  Young Leaders Chapter and the Financial Integrity Platform – Women’s Chapter, which provide opportunities for professional development, careers in financial crime prevention, and broader awareness of the field.

The agreements and partnerships formed at URC2025 open up new economic opportunities for Ukraine — contributing to job creation, community development, and the return of Ukrainians from abroad. The CFI supports and actively participates in such initiatives.
