Oksana Ihnatenko

Oksana Ihnatenko is CFI’s Managing Director. Oksana was a Researcher for the Supervising and Monitoring Ukraine’s Reconstruction Funds (SMURF) project at the Centre for Finance & Security at RUSI. Her research examines resilience and integrity of the Ukraine's financial system. In particular, her research focuses on Ukraine's adherence to FATF standards, fighting financial crime, anti-money laundering efforts, and issues surrounding reconstruction. Prior to joining RUSI, Oksana worked in the private sector in Ukraine, law firms in Poland, and the UK. She also had an internship with the Clooney Foundation for Justice working on the investigation of war crimes in Ukraine. Oksana holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy and a Master of Laws (LLM) in International Business Law from the London School of Economics. Her dissertation focused on the sanctions regime and legal ways to seize Russian frozen assets to fund Ukraine’s reconstruction.

Anastasiia Okunevych

Anastasiia Okunevych - CFI’s Communications Manager. She is responsible for managing the official website and the organisation’s social media pages, which includes creating, editing, and publishing content. She is also actively involved in organising events. Anastasiia joined the CFI team after participating in the Ideathon on financial crime, organised by the Financial Integrity Platform – Young Leaders Chapter, which gave her the opportunity to intern and become part of the team.

Iryna Tarasenko

Iryna Tarasenko is a Secretary to the Advisory Board at CFI . She provides administrative and organisational support to the Board’s activities, contributes to the preparation of analytical materials and research, and is involved in the organisation’s communications and digital processes. She has experience in customer service and administrative support: in her role as a Senior Account Specialist, she was responsible for client relations, coordinating communications, preparing reports, analysing issues, and implementing solutions to improve service quality. Iryna holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Philology and a Master’s degree in Management of Organizations and Administration from Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University. She is interested in financial integrity and the development of effective institutions.

Mark Karandas

Mark Karandas is an Associate Fellow at CFI. He has practical experience in both state and international financial institutions, including an internship at the National Bank of Ukraine and work in commercial banks. He holds a degree from the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy and is continuing his education at the London School of Economics. Mark is also engaged in academic research, speaks several foreign languages, and is a member of the Financial Integrity Platform - Young Leaders Chapter.
