About CFI

The Center for Financial Integrity (CFI) is a think tank dedicated to supporting resilience and integrity of the financial system of Ukraine via evidence-based research and collaborative workshops. With the support of RUSI’s Centre for Finance and Security (CFS), CFI has access to leading experts and networks – both from Ukraine and around the world. Its events, research and platforms bring together private and public sector stakeholders in pursuit of CFI’s mission.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering projects at the Center for Financial Integrity (CFI). You will play a key role in ensuring the effective implementation of project activities, coordinating project teams, engaging with partners, and monitoring progress against agreed objectives.

Working closely with the Managing Director, you will coordinate the implementation of both ongoing and new projects, support collaboration across the team, and facilitate engagement with partners and key stakeholders. Your work will contribute to advancing CFI’s initiatives in financial integrity, fraud prevention, and financial security.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Project Management and Coordination
  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee the implementation of CFI projects in line with agreed objectives, timelines, and budgets.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including implementation plans, schedules, monitoring frameworks, and reports.
  • Coordinate the work of internal teams, consultants, and partners to ensure the timely delivery of project activities.

    2. Partnership Management and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Coordinate communication with international organisations, government institutions, civil society organisations, and private-sector partners.
  • Support the development of strategic partnerships and foster effective collaboration among all project stakeholders.
  • Organise meetings, workshops, working sessions, and other project-related events.

    3. Grant and Organisational Processes

  • Support the preparation of grant applications, project proposals, and reports for donors and partners.
  • Monitor project performance indicators and ensure the effective use of project resources.
  • Analyse project outcomes and develop recommendations to strengthen CFI’s future programmes and activities.

 

The responsibilities outlined above are not exhaustive. The successful candidate may be required to undertake other duties reasonably expected within the scope of this role.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in project management, programme coordination, or project delivery within the civil society, international, public, or private sectors.
  • Experience working with grant-funded projects, donors, or development partners is desirable.
  • Excellent planning, organisational, and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
    Strong attention to detail and the ability to coordinate several parallel workstreams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach and strong results orientation.
  • Fluency in Ukrainian is essential. Good command of English is desirable but not essential.
